The lecture component covers essential topics, including anatomy, patient selection, complication management, and tissue handling, complemented by live surgeries performed by Dr. Dagher.
The hands-on portion focuses on proper drilling protocols and implant placement, where each participant will have the opportunity to perform an implant surgery on a pre-selected case, under Dr. Dagher’s expert supervision. The course emphasizes a collaborative team approach, presenting real-life scenarios and evidence-based best practices, ensuring that participants leave with the confidence to plan and perform basic implant surgeries.
By completing this course, attendees will be fully compliant with the guidelines set by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and the Ordre des dentistes du Québec (ODQ), enabling them to both place and restore dental implants in their practice.
